well, my bags are packed...

o.k. so they're not actually packed, but there is a heap of clothing, meds, bug spray, sunblock, and sundry other items starting to grow in a corner of my living room. i'm sure that most of the things i'm carting halfway around the world are readily available in delhi, but even though i've never been a boyscout, i still like to be prepared.

i still have the occasional moment when i think, what in the world have i gotten myself into, taking a group of students to a vastly different and no doubt vastly challenging environment where i myself have never been?! but then it passes, and i go back to my packing lists and emails to india, which at this point are approaching the 200 mark.

when all is said and done, i think and hope it will be a life-changing experience for all of us, i'm sure in predominantly good ways.
